Disney has a rich and engrossing history when it concerns their animation. From the very beginning with Steamboat Willie, to its Dark Ages with The Black Cauldron, the animation studios at Disney have survived many ups and downs. Over the years the studios have created groundbreaking technologies to further the art of animation, and many more than just Disney have benefited from it. Disney currently has 53 animated titles to its name, a feat that has yet to be overcome by any other studio. This website will cover a brief history of Disney animation, allowing you to perhaps gain a better appreciation for the work that is put into the movies that Disney has made over the years.
